What is this Program doing?

This program is a computer gadget. It shows a spirit level instrument on a PDA.

Why do I need this Program?

You do not need this program. The most interesting observation that I made when using this program was the fact the people believe that a PDA could function like the real instrument. Sometime they trust the compute more then their own eyes. It's just interesting to play around and try to imagine what else you could do with a PDA.
